I promised I’d post a few pictures from our holiday earlier this year. We hired a canal boat and took to the Grand Union Leicestershire section for a week.
It’s a slower pace of life, one that one teen took to better than the other, both indicated that they’d like to do it again. I’d love to do it again! We definitely need a comfier bed, comfier seats and to take the caravan chairs so we can sit on the towpath 😂

This looks so relaxing. I watched a YouTube video on canal boating a couple of years ago. What an idyllic way to experience the countryside. Did doggo enjoy the adventure? I’m pretty sure very dog I’ve ever known would have loved something like this. 🙂

He really wasn’t sure! He hated the tunnels, really unhappy in them.
We kept thinking he was going to launch off the boat but he never did. Small mercies.
